Charlotte Thanksgiving Eve Parade 2026 Brings 100,000-Spectator Legacy to America’s Holiday Travel Calendar
Charlotte’s 80th Thanksgiving Eve Parade arrives on 25 November 2026, with free viewing, travel advice and Uptown tips. Charlotte is preparing for the 80th annual Novant Health Thanksgiving Eve Parade on 25 November 2026, bringing a significant holiday spectacle before Thanksgiving Day. The event, which attracted 100,000 live spectators in 2023, offers an opportunity for visitors to combine an evening procession with central Charlotte accommodation, dining and a longer Thanksgiving itinerary. The parade will step off at 5.30 p.m. in Uptown, with its live television broadcast starting at 6 p. m. General roadside viewing is free, while reserved VIP seating offers another option for spectators. However, the anniversary should not automatically establish new anniversary-only attractions. The published route runs along Tryon Street, beginning near 9th Street and ending at Good Samaritan Way, with general roadside viewing encouraged along part of the corridor. The best viewing strategy for visitors is to check the latest route map and access restrictions.
