A Dolly Parton tribute at Petra’s will raise funds for beloved Charlotte artist Kelly Keith as she battles breast cancer. Charlotte artist Kelly Keith, a longtime fixture in the Charlotte art scene, has been diagnosed with breast cancer and has received widespread support from friends, fellow artists, and local music venues to help cover her medical expenses. Snug Harbor in Plaza Midwood hosted a fundraiser earlier this month, which raised $5,450. A Spotfund campaign organized by Keith's close friend, Virginia Dunn, has also raised over $23,655, with a new goal of $40,000 after the original goal was reached. A Dolly Parton-themed benefit will be held at Petra's on Friday night, featuring local singer-songwriters and musicians.
