Man dead, officers injured in Mint Hill shooting: What we know
What started as a custody exchange ended with a man dead and two Mint Hill police officers wounded. The shooting occurred on Friday, Dec. 26 at the Edible location in the Mint Hill Commons shopping center. The suspect, identified as 35-year-old T. . Police were called to the scene and the shooting occurred inside the store. The State Bureau of Investigation will conduct an independent investigation. The two officers were seriously injured but released from the hospital.
