$25K reward offered in case of woman killed in crash from rock thrown through windshield
Witnesses told investigators they saw a white Chevrolet S-10 pickup driving back and forth in the area after the wreck. North Carolina Gov. Josh Stein has offered a reward up to $25,000 for information leading to the arrest of the person responsible for the death of Brittany Elizabeth Furguson. Ferguson, a 23-year-old woman, was killed in a crash after a rock was thrown through her windshield. Witnesses reported seeing a white Chevrolet S-10 pickup after the wreck. The North Carolina State Highway Patrol responded to the deadly crash along Conley Road near Jeeter Carswell Road near Morganton. Ferguson was pronounced dead at the scene.
