No plans tomorrow? Check out South End's First Friday Gallery Crawl. The First Friday Gallery Crawl in South End, Charlotte, is a fun way to spend your Friday night without staying home. The event, which takes place on the first Friday evening of every month, allows participating galleries to showcase new exhibits and featured artists. Many studios offer free wine to drink. The participants can create their own self-guided and self-paced night out. The first Friday of March was hosted by Axios' McKenzie Rankin and Allison Mills, who helped organize the event. The current participating galleries are Hodges Taylor, Elder Gallery of Contemporary Art, Dilworth Artisan Station, Shed Brand and StudioWorks Gallery.

• They kicked things off with ceviche and sushi at Muraya before hitting Dilworth Artisan Station, then StudioWorks Gallery and ending the night at Shed Brand Studio.
